● A revival is the act of bringing something back to life,
health, or popularity after it has declined, stopped, or been
forgotten.
◊ What does it mean to have a Spiritual revival?
● Spiritual revival is a fresh outpouring of GOD’S life-giving
Spirit to restore a sleeping or drifting people back to vibrant
life.
◊ What are some key principles for Spiritual revival?
● GOD is the source of our revival (Psalm 85:6)
* Spiritual revival comes from GOD alone when people grow cold or weak
● Prayer is key for a revival (2 nd Chron. 7:14)
* the bible points to Spiritual revival/renewal and turnaround when GOD’S people humble themselves
repent and pray.

* GOD links the healing of a community to a humble, repentant posture

1. “Do we really need revival?”
If revival means being brought back to spiritual life, what are some signs that a person, a church, or even a community is spiritually drifting or becoming cold? How do we recognize it before it becomes a crisis?
2. “Revival starts with me.”
2 Chronicles 7:14 connects revival with humility, repentance, and prayer. Why is it easier to pray for revival in someone else, in the church, or in our community than to admit that revival may need to start in us? What might God be asking you to surrender or change?
3. “Are we seeking God—or the feeling?”
True revival involves returning to God’s Word, not simply experiencing an emotional moment. How can we tell the difference between genuine spiritual revival and simply having an emotional or exciting church experience? What role should God’s Word play in determining whether revival is truly taking place?
4. “What is standing in the way?”
The study says we must remove the obstacles for revival and provide the channels through which revival can come. What are some obstacles—personally or collectively—that can prevent revival from taking place in a church? And what would it look like for FSM to intentionally remove those obstacles?
