Advancing the Kingdom: Daniel

Daniel advanced God’s Kingdom not from a throne in Israel, but as an exiled captive in a pagan empire. Daniel demonstrates that we can advance the Kingdom by serving faithfully without being in charge, hearing directly from God, and enduring immense hardships.

• Core Truth: Advancing the Kingdom does not depend on our earthly status, but on our spiritual alignment.

You Do Not Have to Be in Charge to Advance the Kingdom

God uses people in positions of service, support, and submission to influence the highest levels of leadership.

• Daniel: 
  • Daniel was a captive and a civil servant, not the sovereign monarch.
  • He served under pagan kings, including Nebuchadnezzar, Belshazzar, Darius, and Cyrus.
• How the Kingdom Advanced:
  • Submissive Excellence: Daniel performed his duties with such integrity that pagan rulers recognized God’s hand on him.

You Must Be Able to Hear from God to Advance the Kingdom
