● Interconnected concepts   >When you have faith in someone you tend to trust  them.

● Faith is the foundation    > Faith can be considered the initial belief, while trust is built upon that faith

● Trust as an action      > Trust can be viewed as an action or a way of acting based on faith

● Mutual growth         > As one grows the other is likely to flourish as well. 

◊ 7 reasons to trust GOD because of His intimate relationship to us: (PSALM 23) ● We should put our trust in GOD because…

1) GOD gives us provision       > He knows you and your needs intimately.  

2) GOD gives us peace.            > He knows what is good for us there are times when   we need a break, a Sabbath, rest.

3) GOD heals our wounds. 

> If someone has hurt, disappointed, attacked, or  failed you, you need His hands to find that wound   and let Him heal your soul through His Word.

4) GOD protects us in difficult times.       > The Holy Spirit is ever-present.

5) GOD gives us victory.

Your enemy has to watch and be miserable as you   enjoy the table of benefits Christ paid for. 

6) GOD gives us joy.              > Joy is a force within you that changes your   circumstances.  

7) GOD gives us security.       > We are a permanent part of the Lord’s house. He will   lead us into His glorious presence
