To make wise decisions in daily life.
● Fortitude (Courage):
To stand firm in faith despite challenges.
● Knowledge:
To know GOD and His will.
● Piety (Reverence):
To worship GOD with a loving heart.
● Fear of the Lord (Wonder/Awe):
To be in awe of GOD’S majesty and avoid sin.
2. His Word
● Jesus is the Word of GOD means He is the physical
manifestation and ultimate revelation of GOD to
humanity
● This title signifies that in Jesus GOD has fully communicated
* who HE is
* what HE is like
* and what HE intends

Eternal and unfailing:
GOD’S word is permanent and will not pass away, and
its truth is everlasting.
Truthful and flawless:
the word of GOD is true and flawless, unlike earthly
things that fade.
Living and active:
the word is living and active, sharp enough to discern
the deepest thoughts and intentions of the heart.
The power of GOD:
The word is seen as a source of spiritual power,
bringing life and transforming those who hear it.

Guidance and illumination:
providing guidance and direction. (Ps. 119:105)
Teaching and correction: (2 Tim 3:16-17)
for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training
in righteousness.
Spiritual purity and sanctification: (John 17:17)
By keeping GOD’S word, believers can stay pure and
are sanctified by His truth.
Source of faith: (Rom 10:17)
Faith comes from hearing the word of GOD.
