God’s Word: 1 Timothy 2: 1-2 (NIV):“I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.”
Prayer: Father, thank you for reminding me of the need to pray for those in leadership. I pray right now that You bestow your gifts of understanding, wisdom, humility, empathy and compassion on everyone occupying a position of leadership over me. I ask this in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen
