Young Adult Ministry (YAM)

includes disciples ranging in ages 18-30. It is comprised of college students, young professionals, singles, and married couples.

This ministry is geared to empower this generation to use their gifts to serve others and demonstrate the purpose of God.

Couple Ministry

serves to encourage couples to honor the covenant of marriage through various activities such as retreats and social activities.

Sunday School Ministry

provides bible teachings for church members and non-members of all ages. 

Sunday School is divided into an adult and a youth division, holding classes for different age groups.

Music Ministry

enhances the worship experience through song to usher in the Holy Spirit and preparing the hearts of the congregation for the word of God. 

The ministry is divided into several different groups; Praise team, Men’s choir and the Youth Choir.

Greeter’s Ministry

expresses hospitality to our guests as they enter into the vestibule. They are the first point of contact and welcome everyone with a smile and warm embrace. The main goal is to usher our guests into an environment that is conducive for worship. 

A gentle smile, a warm hug and an encouraging greeting will compel our guests to enter the sanctuary for a deeper worship encounter.

Ushers Ministry

ensures the worship place is ready for the congregation. 

Ushers greet guests warmly, make sure they are seated comfortably, and do whatever is needed to put guests in the right frame of mind for worship.

Outreach Ministry

serves those in the community who are less fortunate or who are in need, by providing some of life’s basic needs such as food, clothing, household items.

Arts and Drama Ministry

utilizes dance movement and pageantry to minister the gospel. The ministry equips women and men with the knowledge and understanding of God’s purpose of dance in the worship experience. 

The Arts and Drama Ministry does not “perform”, but instead ministers to God’s people. While there is not a requirement for previous dance experience, members and those looking to become members should possess a willing and cooperative spirit.

Hospitality Ministry

plans and prepares meals for various activities and special events for the ministry. The gift of hospitality is an important one that makes a tremendous impact on others.

Finance Ministry

provides financial oversight using accepted accounting principles for the church, and assists the Church Treasurer in managing the finances and economic administrative affairs of the ministry. 

The ministry coordinates procedures, reviews all church financial matters, develops the annual operating budget, and assists in investing excess funds to maximize the rate of return.

A/V-Media Ministry

is responsible for all video and sound production of events, services, functions, and activities. 

The ministry maintains live streaming capabilities for church events, public events, services and the church’s website.

Transportation Ministry

provides transportation, via church vehicles, to disciples and guests, for the purpose of attending the worship experience, bible study and other church activities. 

This ministry also helps transport those in the community to voting locations.

Womens Ministry’s (Torch)

goal is to support women with the resources, skills, relationships, and support they need to transform their lives in a way that consistently honors God. 

Torch hosts various events throughout the year and invite all women to connect and volunteer.

Men’s Ministry

aims to equip men to become disciples of Jesus Christ to inspire the sinner, ignite the saint, and impact society with the message of Jesus Christ. 

The Master’s Men Ministry hosts various ministry activities, providing a space for men of all backgrounds to serve and worship together. All men are invited to join and volunteer with the ministry.

Youth Ministry

provides a great opportunity for children to build a foundation in Christ in a setting that is fostered with a nurturing, educational, spiritual, biblically sound and age appropriate perspective. The ministry is focused on developing young disciples of Jesus Christ who are committed to seeking God, shaping lives, and serving the world. 

We are passionate about drawing youth to Christ through innovative evangelism, biblical teaching and developing them for leadership.

New Disciples Ministry (new members class)

helps new members to assimilate to being a disciple of the body of Christ and to Free Sprit by providing orientation classes.
The ministry has the pleasure of impacting people from the point of responding to the calls for salvation, restoration, and membership, through their assimilation into the life of the Ministry by way of orientation. From orientation classes to Bible Study, to a ministry, new members are moved from church membership to living fully-discipled lives for Christ.

Food Pantry Ministry

serves the members as well as those who are outside the walls of our church with the message of the love of Jesus Christ by providing food while also providing spiritual food through evangelism, prayer, and kindness.

The Ministry is staffed by members and volunteers who ensures that the pantry is stocked, organized, and accessible to the community.

Baby Dedication Ministry

serves to assist Christian parents in dedicating a child to GOD. The Ministry is to help parents understand the importance of making a promise to the Lord to do everything they can to raise their child in a Godly manner, until the child can make the decision on his or her own to follow the Lord.

The church also commits to do all that it can to assist with the child’s spiritual development. We encourage members to invite family, friends, godparents, and guests to share in this joyous occasion.

Nursery Ministry

mission is to provide the very best care for one of God’s greatest gifts…your child. The staff at Free Spirit is committed to providing a loving, nurturing atmosphere for children ages 6 weeks through age 3.

It is our goal to create a positive learning environment for the social, emotional, spiritual, and physical development of your child.

Pastor’s Aid Ministry

is to assist the Pastor and his family with certain matters deemed appropriate by the Pastor or led by the Holy Spirit as it relates to the Pastor’s ministry for the uplifting of GOD’s kingdom. 

This ministry also includes The Armor Bearers who provide special ministry to the Pastor as he carries out God’s ministry. These men and women are trained to serve as aides who assist the Pastor with a variety of needs.
